Intro

English rock/metal band Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs (or simply "PIGSx7") will take the stage at Blind in Asmalımescit on Friday, December 6th for their first concert in Istanbul!

Formed in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2012, the English metal band Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs will perform at Blind in Asmalımescit on the evening of December 6th for their first Istanbul show. The band gained attention with their debut album, "Feed the Rats," released in 2017, and was named one of The Guardian's "40 Best New Bands" of 2018.

The band was founded by vocalist Matt Baty, guitarists Sam Grant and Adam Ian Sykes, bassist John-Michael Hedley, and drummer Ewan Mackenzie. Influenced by Black Sabbath and Monster Magnet, they share a love for noise akin to their contemporaries, Part Chimp and Hey Colossus.

As Pigsx7 became a familiar name in rock media, they rose from the underground scene, played larger venues, and sold-out shows across the UK. Despite already being known for blowing eardrums and being a bit unhinged, the band delved even deeper into darker territories with their fourth album, "Land of Sleeper," released in 2023.
