Urban Festival Returns to Unite Electronic Music Lovers and Help Earthquake Victims
Urban Festival is set to return to Istanbul this summer, sharing its unique and universal sense of music and fun with electronic music fans from all over Turkey. First unveiled by FG 93.8 at Istanbul Küçükçiftlik Park in 2009, the festival has previously hosted world-renowned names such as Röyksopp and Trentemoller.

Now, the event series is set to return under the name “Urban Fundraising Festival” and will use all of its resources to help the victims of the recent devastating earthquakes that have hit Turkey. The Urban Fundraising Festival aims to contribute to the education and sustainability needs of children impacted by the earthquakes by building “Ecologically Modelled Schools” in the Adıyaman-Besni region and raising money for Turkish Educaton Foundation (TEV)’s public fund “Build the Future”.

The festival series will kick off on May 20th with the reigning legend of Turkey’s electronic music scene, BeeGee, at Volkswagen Arena. Titled “This is BeeGee,” the night will also feature visual works “Untold” by Designer Mümün Keser and “Absolute Zero” by Digital Artist Hakan Yılmaz.

The festival series will continue with Miss Monique’s performance at Küçükçiftlik Park on June 18th, Mathame’s live set at Volkswagen Arena on June 28th, and Fideles, Brinna Knauss, Gheist, Rebūke, and many local legends on July 16th at Parkorman.

Festival-goers can buy discounted tickets to the opening night of the Urban Fundraising Festival and support the earthquake victims. With hopes of being the longest-running festival series of the season, Urban Fundraising Festival prepares to leave a positive mark on 2023 by bringing together globally renowned musicians, important artists from the local scene, and electronic music lovers from all over Turkey.

GENERAL RULES

Doors open at 8 PM
The event has an age limit of 18.
Sound in the venue may cause temporary hearing problems.
Lighting in the venue may cause temporary eye discomfort.
All audience must have their tickets with them during the event.
Audience that exits the venue will need to purchase a new ticket in order to enter the venue again.
Event tickets should only be purchased from official selling points determined by the promoter. The promoter has a right to not allow the ticket holder if the ticket is not purchased from an official selling point.
The venue has a right to not allow any person if they seem unsuitable for the event, audience who are not allowed will receive a refund.
No food or drinks are allowed in the venue.
-If there is a tobacco sponsor- Open cigarette packs and tobacco will not be allowed in the venue.
Pets are not allowed in the venue.
No medical drugs are allowed in the venue.
Audience should keep their personal belongings with them during the event. Management will not accept responsibility for lost or damaged personal belongings.
It is not allowed to enter the venue with laser pointers and any tools that are flammable, explosive (deodorant, spray, perfume etc.) and sharp.
It is not allowed to record during the event. Professional audio and video tools (video camera, selfie sticks and GoPro sticks etc.) are not allowed in the venue.
Promoter reserves the right to use the photos and videos of audience for promotional matters and the audience accepts the use of this right by participating in the event.
Promoter reserves the right to change the program and ticket prices.
