About the venue

Although it officially opened in 2014, Suma Han’s story goes back much further, shaped by its famous private parties that spread through word of mouth and the legendary Suma Beach it created. Housed in a historic building tucked away in Karaköy’s narrow streets, Suma Han offers more than meets the eye. An intimate nightclub and beloved gathering place, it brings free-spirited creatives together every week through the same joyful vibrations. Within Suma Han’s unique atmosphere, two stages offer distinct yet harmonious musical worlds and moods. Guided by senses and emotions rather than formulas, Suma Han brings hundreds of people from around the world together on the dance floor each week, with events featuring a carefully curated selection of artists. Its open-minded spirit, multifaceted approach that nourishes the soul, and friendly, inclusive values define the experience. Celebrating its tenth anniversary, Suma Han remains a place where we feel free to express ourselves or forget ourselves for a while—or perhaps discover a new “us,” create, and share.
