who?
Born from Berlin’s nightlife, record label and event series Home Again celebrates its tenth anniversary in Istanbul.
what have they done?
At the heart of the night are Mathew Jonson, a cult figure in electronic music, and Kyoto-born, Berlin-based producer and DJ Alex Kassian. For nearly a quarter of a century, Mathew Jonson has been reshaping the grammar of the dance floor, becoming a reference point in analog electronic music with his iconic tracks and live sets built from scratch every time. Alex Kassian blends his cinematic approach with a warm and melodic sound moving between ambient, Balearic, house, and progressive. Bringing Home Again’s house music identity directly to the dance floor, Home Again Soundsystem brings together the core members of the collective. Thabo from the Home Again family also steps behind the decks, while Levonjoje from Istanbul’s electronic music scene opens the night.
