About the promoter

Fiba Salon İKSV, Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts’ (İKSV) performance venue in Şişhane, welcomes audiences throughout the year with a diverse program ranging from contemporary music and theatre to literature and talks. When İKSV moved from the Luvr Apartment on İstiklal Avenue to Deniz Palas in Şişhane in 2010, the ground floor was transformed into a performance venue with a focus on contemporary music. During its first year, artists including Midlake, The Notwist, and Lali Puna took the Salon stage, alongside many emerging names from Northern Europe’s contemporary music scene. Over the years, Salon has expanded its artistic program with numerous talks, theatre productions, film selections, National Theatre Live screenings, and more. In 2017, it began organizing one-day events at different venues beyond its permanent home, and in 2022 launched the Gezgin Salon Festival, welcoming 20,000 attendees.
