Markus Sommer, born in Seligenstadt and based in Berlin, is a globally respected DJ and producer. He co-founded Pager Records with Phil Evans in 2015—now a staple label and event series in the house and minimal scene. With residencies at iconic clubs like Robert Johnson and Club der Visionäre, Markus has played top venues worldwide, from Fabric and Concrete to Closer, Tokyo, and South America. His background as a saxophonist in funk, soul, and jazz shapes his signature sound, blending rare finds and timeless cuts into floor-shaking sets. A passionate digger since childhood, Markus owns a record collection “people would die for.” His standout album Untitled Gemütlichkeiten (2019) and nearly 40 vinyl releases speak to his deep musical roots. In 2025, Pager Records celebrates its 10th anniversary with special releases and showcases—plus a new album and EPs from Markus on the way. His mission stays the same: make people move.
