The legend and resident of ((Sound Room)), Tomoki Tamura, returns on January 23. A DJ and producer from Osaka, Japan, he is deeply influenced by Black-origin house music from the United States. He began his career playing in major clubs in Osaka and later moved to London in 2004, where he launched his own event brand, “Holic.” His exceptional DJ mixing skills led him to perform at iconic venues such as The End/AKA, Fabric, and Ministry of Sound. In 2012, he founded his new record label “Holic Trax,” establishing a major foundation in the UK underground music scene. To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Holic Trax, three EPs were released, featuring artists such as Satoshi Tomiie, Mr. G, and Tuccillo. He also formed a new duo project with Tuccillo called “Doublet.” Their releases “101” and “202” quickly sold out, gaining significant popularity. To date, he has remained creatively active, releasing more than 40 records together with sub-labels such as Boothoic, Monoklo, and Tom Tam Club. Now based in Berlin, his passion for music continues to captivate dancefloors around the world.
